Go wilde for chocolate at Wilde Irish chocolate factory and see behind the scenes of this small artisan chocolate producer in rural Co. Clare in Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands on the Lough Derg Blueway! Meet the staff, see what is happening in the chocolate factory, whether it’s hand piping chocolate fillings, decorating some of the 50 varieties of bars, or even developing new products. The visit is not complete without participating in a chocolate tasting panel, which explains the different grades of chocolate. Those with more time can participate in a chocolate making class where they make their very own chocolate bars and package them for taking home. Guided tours available in French, English and Dutch.
