It is the most internationally recognised Irish festival after St Patrick’s Day and the world’s longest running Oyster Festival. Established in 1954, The Festival has welcomed over half a million visitors who have consumed more than 3 million oysters. The programme features the Irish andWorld Oyster Opening Championships, foodie talks, tasting events, a seafood trail, live music and dancing, a Mardi Gras Gala Event along with family activities, cooking demonstrations and more.
