Slane Distillery is a working distillery in the original stables of Slane Castle built in the 1750s and where Slane IrishWhiskey is produced. Guests are taken on a journey from grain to glass and the tour concludes with a tasting of their Slane IrishWhiskey. At Slane Castle (1 minute walk away) visitors start their tour by hearing about the history of the Castle as narrated by the owner, 8 th Marquess Conyngham Lord Henry Mount Charles. The audio is a personal journey through the decades taking in the castle history and the rock concerts. Visitors are then guided on a tour of the house. Guided tours in English.
