This is followed by a detailed introduction into the breed of mountain sheep, uses for wool, animal marking systems and our border collie dog training programme. The guests will be treated to the passionate stories of sheep farming in the area, stories and secrets passed on over the 7 generations at Glen Keen! Afterwards, the visitors will enjoy a fresh brew of tea and coffee served with our traditional home baked scones, a dollop of fresh cream and farmhouse jam, all in the shadow of Connaught’s tallest peak, Mweelrea (the bald king)!
