ABOUT FÁILTE IRELAND Fáilte Ireland is the National Tourism Development Authority. Our role is to support the tourism industry and work to sustain Ireland as a high-quality and competitive tourism destination. We provide a range of practical business development supports to help tourism businesses understand the needs and motivations of our visitor segments and in doing this, better manage and market their products, services and experience delivery. In doing this we have created and continue to invest alongside our industry partners in our three signature Experience Brands: Wild AtlanticWay , Dublin and Ireland’s Ancient East . These three experience brand propositions provide prospective visitors and travel buyers with compelling reasons to choose ireland for a visit or programme while offering distinctive yet complementary experiences and holiday types that encourage visitors to fully immerse themselves in our culture, traditions, landscape and environment, aligning to their core values and travel motivations. We also work with other state agencies, Industry and Environmental Representative bodies, at local, national and international levels, to develop, implement and champion positive and practical strategies that will benefit Irish tourism and the Irish economy. We also promote Ireland as a home holiday destination through our domestic marketing campaign, and manage a network of nationwide tourist information centres that provide help and advice for visitors to Ireland. We work closely with our sister agency Tourism Ireland, who are responsible for marketing the Island of Ireland and have office representatives located in the key source markets to Ireland.
