This gives you time to get used to the kayak (singles/doubles). There is always something to make you gasp on this trip, whether it be the silhouette of the seabirds on the bank, the red sunset, the whole panoply of stars overhead, the moonlight reflected on the water, or, at certain times of year, the astonishing bio-luminescence causing the water to light up around your paddle in 1,000 tiny lights. Our night time kayak is gentle and atmospheric, and takes place in the safety of either Castlehaven Bay or Lough Hyne – perfect for beginners and those more comfortable on the water.We encourage our paddlers to slip silently into the night and take advantage of the increased awareness of sound and odours – a special element of paddling in the darkness!
