Experience includes • Day return ferry Cleggan to Inishbofin island • Tea/coffee & scones • Walking Maps • Soup & Sandwich lunch On a mid-morning ferry sailing, visitors enjoy spectacular land and seascapes en route to Inishbofin island, before walking the short distance to the Island Hotel, for a light lunch and short film screening about the fascinating unique heritage, history and geology of the place. Time then, to head out with maps to take in the self guided walk of the scenicWestquarter Loop. Then back to the hotel for tea/coffee/scones before walking the short distance back to the ferry for sailing back to the mainland. With a selection of looped walks, 2 Green Coast awarded beaches, a dive centre, an equestrian centre, and bicycle hire, there is plenty to fill a day here, not to mention the great bird watching and photography opportunities the island offers.
