Competitors choose their level from Mini (27km) to Sport (43km) to Full (48KM) combining sea kayaking, mountain running, beach running & cycling. DUBLIN CITY MARATHON OCTOBER www.sseairtricitydublinmarathon.ie Undoubtedly the biggest marathon and competitive event in Ireland, and the 5th largest in Europe, some 20,000 participants take on this 26 mile road race challenge from city through Dublin’s wonderful parklands and village suburbs. Run it, walk it, jog it or wheelchair it, a bucket list event for all those with Marathon ambitions! GREAT FJORD SWIM OCTOBER www.gaelforceevents.com/en/the-great- fjord-swim Considered one of the best open water events on the competitor swimming calendar in Europe, it takes place in the deep waters of Killary Fjord surrounded by mountains. Offering three distances – including a Full Ironman Distance, it’s one to watch as well as compete! SEA 2 SUMMIT NOVEMBER www.westportsea2summit.ie The final adventure race of the Irish calendar, it offers a combination of sealed road, mountain running and cycling along 2 routes – the Spirit Route (30km) & the Supreme Route (56km).
