Learn about the production of whiskey from grain to glass whilst also exploring the history and heritage of Irish spirit making. The Tour includes tastings of our whiskey, vodka, gin and traditional Irish poitin (non-alcoholic beverage also available), allowing visitors to gain an in depth knowledge of the Connacht Whiskey brand and the stories behind each of our spirits. Each participant receives a personalised Tasting Certificate! Tours are available in English and in Polish if pre-booked. The multi-award winning Centre provides exhibitions, a 20mins film, 45mins guided walking tours and a tearoom. The tours show the excavated walls, dwelling area and allow visitors to probe for a buried wall. Visitors can experience the growing bog and look down over the edge of a 110m high cliff from a safe viewing platform. Subjects covered are archaeology, bogs, wildlife, geology and turf cutting.
