The Cliffs stretch for 8 km (5 miles) and rise to 214 metre (702feet) over the Atlantic Ocean. It is home to Ireland’s largest seabird colony with up to 30,000 breeding pairs. There are over 600 metres of pathways and viewing platforms along the cliff edge. Savour the breath taking views, with the Aran Islands, the Kerry mountains and Galway Bay all visible on a clear day. The Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre is built into the hillside in an eco-friendly manner. There are visitor information leaflets and site maps available in 14 languages. An audio guide is free to download form iTunes/Google play. Duration  1.5-2hrs. Best experienced early morning or late evening to see the sun set.
