The tombs of Brú Na Bóinne are about 5,000 years old. The complex consists of one large mound and eighteen smaller mounds. The kerbstones around the large mound are decorated with excellent examples of Neolithic art. There is a small exhibition room in the mound where visitors can look down the eastern passage.
