City of Literature, and what better way to enjoy it than with a

Literary Pub Crawl

(advance Booking required).

The Tour kicks off the Pub Crawl from the

Duke Pub

, on Duke Street with a song –Waxi Dargle. From there Colm will guide you

through the cobbled square of Trinity College and into several pubs in a nearby maze of narrow streets, as he quotes from Joyce,

Beckett, Yeats, Heaney and the labour politics activist James Larkin, as he takes you on a journey through the literary history of

the city. A key element of experience is the rich lore of Dublin’s pubs and the role they played as social centres for many trades,

including writers and journalists. The performance is punctuated with song and anecdote and is set against a backdrop of wonderful

photographs of the city. With his witty, enthusiastic and informative style, there is always the chance that he will veer off the mark
