Experience

The Pilgrim Path, an ancient religious path used by pilgrims since ancient

times, offers a different way of experiencing the spectacular sea cliffs of

Sliabh Liag (sometimes written Slieve League) which are among the highest in

Europe. On your excursion, you’ll get a glimpse into the ancient history of this

mystical location, passing church ruins and a holy well on the eastern summit

of Sliabh Liag.

This moderate walking route is only 2.8km long but features views of the

villages of Teelin and Carrick in the valley below where you can enjoy local

food and drink after your walk.Walk takes approx. 1 hr 30 mins each way –

group should organise their own transport to meet them at top of Sliabh Liag

if not doing return section.

Not normally guided, but if required an English/German speaking guide can be

sourced locally. There is a charge for this.
