Listowel Writers’Week is an internationally
acclaimed literary festival devoted to bringing
together writers and audiences at unique and
innovative events in the historic and intimate
surroundings of Listowel County Kerry.
The Festival showcases and provides access to
writers who offer substantive artistic content
and who offer guidance and inspiration to diverse
audiences. The Festival also aims to give a platform
for participants to perform their art form.

Sea Sessions is one of Ireland’s most highly respected
small festivals and is widely recognised as being the
country’s premier music, camping and surfing lifestyle
event. The festival is rooted in a love of surfing. The
cream of Irish and European surfers take part in the
ASP sanctioned surf competition. In addition to surfing
and music, other activities include street performers,
gourmet food outlets, tag rugby and beach soccer
tournaments, an ultimate frisbee competition and
swimming races. There are also skateboarding, BMX and
mountain biking displays; an extreme sports film festival;
and a body and soul holistic healing and therapy village!
