The Vintage Tea Tour is an Afternoon Tea Experience. Climb on-board a fully

restored Vintage Routemaster bus called Pauline and enjoy a drive through

beautiful Dublin city taking in the best known sights. On board you will have

a chance to sit back and relax whilst enjoying freshly prepared Afternoon

Tea and 1950’s jazz music. This is not a guided tour but an Afternoon Tea

experience. There are beautifully illustrated history booklets on-board if

visitors would like some additional information on Dublin City. Pick up point

at Castle Street, Dublin 2.

Parking, Access/Ability & Special Requirements

On-street parking on Castle Street, Dublin 2 and also a car park at Jurys

Christchurch. The bus has not been modified in any way so it’s not wheelchair

accessible. No children under 6 permitted.

Saint Patrick’s Cathedral provides a window into 800 years of Irish history,

religion, art, architecture, music and literature. Enjoy a self-guided experience

at your own pace, including a visit to the grave of Jonathan Swift. Use the

Discovery Space to learn some of the wonderful stories this building has to

offer through touch screen technologies; take time to do a brass rubbing, or

build a model of the Cathedral. Allow 40-60 mins for the experience. Visitor

information of the Cathedral’s history – available in various languages and

can be sent in advance to groups. Guided tours in English and Italian for pre-

booked groups. Allow 40-50 mins for guided experience.
