Experience
A 50 min guided tour, telling the story of what it was like for Irish emigrants
having to leave their homeland in the mid-19th century. The tour retraced
their steps as they boarded the ship for the difficult transatlantic voyage and
an uncertain future. Below deck, the guides lead you through the dimly-
lit quarters to show what life on board was like for passengers. Hear some
inspiring stories of human determination to overcome adversity and make a
better life. Tour delivered in English with printed information guides in French,
German and Spanish.
