Set on 250 acres of beautiful parkland, Malahide Castle’s story dates back to

the 12th Century. Located 10 mins from Dublin Airport and 20 mins from city

centre, it offers an ideal escape from the bustling city centre. Enjoy a day of

culture and activity by combining a 1 hr cycle tour located at the historic gate

lodge at Malahide Castle followed by a guided tour of the Castle itself with

one of our knowledgeable and passionate tour guides. Audio guides for Castle

tours in 6 languages. Avoca Café & gift store is on site.

Experience

The Little Museum experience, overlooking St. Stephen’s Green, covers the

three floors of the beautiful Georgian townhouse and is centred on a guided

tour of our main exhibitions. This tour covers the social and political history of

Dublin in the 20th century and lasts approx. 40 mins. Your guide will explain

many of the highlights of the museum’s permanent

collection.We

also have a

temporary exhibition schedule and some permanent exhibitions including one

of Ireland’s famous Rock Band U2. Allow 1 hr for visit. Guided tour delivered

in English with additional print materials for international visitors available in

French, Dutch, German and Italian & Spanish.

Not wheelchair accessible as a Georgian building with stair access throughout.

All Museum spaces are on upper floors, No lift access currently available.
