Experience Description
GPOWitness History is a brand new visitor experience opening March 29th
2016 in the historical GPO building, O’Connell Street, Dublin. This will be
a highly interactive and immersive exhibition which will focus on the 1916
rising and also how Ireland has developed since. Self – guided audio headsets
are available in various continental languages. The tour includes touch screens,
real artefacts, videos, dress sets and memory walls which will further enhance
the visitor experience. Visitors can relax afterwards in the café and retail store.

Experience Description
Recent winner of Tourism Industry awards ‘Best Cultural Experience’; this
engages visitors in a guided walking tour with highly experienced guide,
through the cemetery. It offers a fascinating walk through time, visiting
the graves of those who helped shape modern Ireland. Founded in 1832
by Daniel O’Connell, the tour includes a visit to his tomb, located beneath
his 168ft iconic tower, along with many other famous historical figures
buried there.With over 1.5 million Dubliners, there are plenty of stories
to tell. The experience includes a dramatic re-enactment where an actor
in period costume recites a famous speech. Allow 90 mins for tour + extra
to visit Museum, shop and café.
