For many years, Irish people around the world have gathered on 17th March
to honour the life and memory of Saint Patrick, Patron Saint of Ireland. Today,
this special day has become an annual global celebration of the island’s
unique heritage and culture. Dublin City hosts Ireland’s biggest and most
spectacular festival which runs over four days.
An invitation to join us in Dublin to experience the festival’s entertainment,
atmosphere and the unforgettable experience of being ‘Irish in spirit’ for a
short time.

No age restrictions for FREE Events. FREE events fully accessible. Please
contact group bookings contact for Disabled Access and viewing to events
including Street Parade on 17th March. Age restrictions apply to some
evening paid events. Some Free events are hosted outdoors, so appropriate
comfortable outdoor clothing and footwear advised. Public Coach parking
available throughout the city, however, parking and vehicle access restrictions
apply around the festival dates, notably 17th March for public Street Parade.

Spanning the New Year period from December 30th-January 1st, NYF
celebrates IRELAND NOW – DUBLIN LIVE.
A city wide animation, stretching beyond the boundaries of a traditional arts
festival, showcasing the evolution of its shining talent in music, dance, design,
art, spoken word and food. Offering a vibrant spectrum of events, many FREE,
the festival promises an authentic expression of Ireland’s textured identity,
informed by its heritage but looking to the future.
The programme includes the headline event – NYF Countdown Concert;
An NYF Food village; City wide Luminosity 3D Light projections (FREE); the
Procession of Light (FREE) and elements of the SpokenWord Festival (Some
free); NYF Art Trail (Some free); NYF Music Trail (Some free); Resolution Day
