Experience Description

Viking Splash Tours offers a unique experience to see Dublin sights on both

land and water! Climb on board an amphibious WorldWar II open top vehicle

and don the Viking helmet. Enjoy an interactive guided tour with a humorous

driver-guide, while roaring at unsuspecting passers-by. All tours in English. Tour

duration 1 hour 15 mins + 15 mins advance attendance to board.

Experience Description

Now in its 12th year TradFest Temple Bar has established itself as a major

event in Dublin’s cultural calendar and is the city’s Premier celebration of Irish

Trad & Folk Music featuring an eclectic programme of Irish and international

performers performing in some of Dublin’s most historic venues including

Dublin Castle, St Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin City Hall plus many other iconic

buildings. Acts over the years have included renowed Irish artists such as

Clannad, Altan, The Dubliners, Stockton’s Wing, Paul Brady, Martin Hayes,

Gilbert O’Sullivan as well as international acts such as Donovan, Julie Fowlis,

Bellow Head and Carlos Nunez. The 5 day festival also includes workshops,

master-classes, pub sessions, outdoor entertainment, music trail, exhibitions,

film screenings as well as a family programme of music, arts and crafts for

younger audiences.

Opening Details

TradFest Temple Bar takes place every January over 5 days. Times vary based

on each event.

Parking, Access/Ability & Special Requirements

As some venues are historical landmarks and date over 1000 years not all are

mobile accessible, staff need to be notified in advance and will assist where

possible. All events are city centre based and are within walking distance to

public carparks. Refreshments are not available in most venues but all venues

are located within city centre with access to full range of bars, restaurants,

cafes etc.
