Continue on to Belmullet and get ready for a short, brisk Erris Head LoopWalk with your guide Agatha Hurst. From these cliff tops
you can experience the power of wild nature where land and sea meet the soft sound of little birds chirping and the dramatic sound
of the waves many meters below. Learn about EIRE 62 on the headland which assisted war-time pilots to identify the land as Ireland
and the role Blacksod Lighthouse played in a critical part of WW2. You’ll also hear the legends from the area, including stories about
the Children of Lir.

her passion for traditional craft revival.

Travel on to Downpatrick Head discovery point to see Dun Briste sea stack which was once part of the mainland. A storm in 1393
broke off part of the headland, its inhabitants having to be rescued by a ship’s rope from the new sea stack ‘island’.

Start your day with a walk along the seashore with expert guide Marc from
Sligo Seashore Secretswho will lead a fun and informative
seaweed identification walk inWest Sligo. He’ll not only show you how to identify the various seaweeds but you will also learn how
to use them. At the end of the walk you’ll enjoy a practical demonstration on how to cook and use the sea vegetables.

Travel to the coastal village of Easkey, Co. Sligo and visit
Rosie’s Pottery Studio. Rosie has been creating ceramic homewares, artistic pieces
and lighting for more than ten years. She has been exploring and experimenting with various ceramics and pottery techniques to create
her own unique style which is both decorative and functional.
