Blueways are an invitation to stop and discover an inviting network of water
trails on theWild AtlanticWay. These beautiful trails offer kayaking and
snorkelling in safe environments making them suitable even for beginners.
Each Blueway site has an information board with trail maps, safety details and
information on equipment hire and tuition locally. So whether you drop by
just one of the locations or plan an exciting odyssey taking in all six, it’s time
to take the trip of a lifetime on Ireland’s Blueway along theWild AtlanticWay.

Parking, Access/Ability & Special Requirements
As the activity takes place on/in water there may be mobility limitations.
A reasonable level of fitness is required. Activity is free if you bring your own
equipment. Parking for cars and smaller vehicles is available in each location.

Experience Description
A 2hr guided tour of Irish historical material, comprising over 100,000 items
spanning 400 years. It includes artefacts associated with TheobaldWolfe Tone;
letters from Michael Collins, Douglas Hyde, Michael Davitt and O’Donovan
Rossa; rare books, proclamations, pamphlets, maps and personal items from
Leaders of the 1916 Rising. Marking the centenary of the founding of the
State, this repository of Irish historic material is worth a visit.
