Experience Description

’AWoolly Experience’ includes an immersive Sheepdog herding display

followed by a detailed wool spinning demonstration where the visitor gets

to hear the story of traditional sheep farming and its value from the 1600s

through the 7 generations at Glen Keen Sheep Farm while enjoying a Glen

Keen brew of hot tea & scrumptious scones! There is a restaurant onsite

where visitors can absorb the historical landscape and connect with this

special area of conservation.

Experience is guided in English. German and French guides are available at

a rate of

Experience Description

Learn the Irish dance of theWild AtlanticWay with master tutor Emma

O’ Sullivan. Individuals and groups welcome. Individual booking includes a

1 hr dance workshop introducing the basics of sean nos dance unique to

Connemara and theWild AtlanticWay coastal region. The dance is a solo

percussive dance so no partner is required. Dancers receive a token dance and

performance tuition DVD which features a tour along theWild AtlanticWay.

Group bookings receive a 1 hr 30 mins dance workshop as above with ceili

dance instruction.
