The Butler Trail steeped deep in medieval heritage links the 3 towns of
Carrick on Suir, Clonmel and Cahir, Co. Tipperary in a 38km drive with
indulgent stops at castles, cottages and courts! Each stop off point offers
self-guided audio tours in English, French and German allowing you to take
it all in at your own pace, discover hidden gems and mix with the locals.

Experience
Lough Boora Discovery Park is located in Co Offaly and is open all year round.
It is an outdoor Amenity Park developed on a former industrial bogland. It has
over 50 kms of tarred and gravel looped walkways and over 20kms of tarred
looped cycle paths that take the visitor through wonderful natural habitats
of wetlands, woodlands, wild grassland, lakes and an outdoor Internationally
acclaimed Sculpture Park and Lough Boora Mesolithic Site c6800-7000BC.
Recommended time for visit with tour 1.5 hrs.
Pricing & Capacity
Self guided tour of park and sculptures is free. Guided tours/bike hire at
nominal charge. Max 35-40 persons per tour. Advance booking required.

Bus and Car Parking free on site. Visitor Centre with Café open 0930-1800hrs.
Outdoor lakeside seating available with outdoor picnic facilities in various
locations.
Bike hire available for all age groups on site and all the paths are on flat family
friendly terrain and cater for all age groups from young to juniors to adults.
Outdoor clothing and comfortable footwear advised for cycling tours/walking
loops. Site is wheelchair friendly.
