Visit the award winningWells House and Gardens, set in the lush green
countryside of CoWexford on Ireland’s East Coast. Enjoy a meet and greet
with owner Sabine as she talks through the restoration of the house and
gardens based on the plans by Daniel Robertson from the 1830s then step
back in time and learn more of the history of the house & the families who
lived there for over 300 years on a guided house tour. Afterwards in the
stunning dining room of Wells enjoy a sumptuous afternoon tea served
on vintage china & silverware by your very own Victorian maid. Enjoy a
walk through the woodlands, a browse through the Craft Courtyard and
the stunning gardens as part of your visit. Guided tour in English only.
Duration – approx. 2 hrs. More time can be given for groups to enjoy
the grounds.

Experience
Step on board the Viking ship built of timber in 1923. Your guide will provide
commentary (English only) on local history, on the religious history attached
to the islands and to the Viking history attached to the River Shannon, Lough
Ree and Clonmacnois. Your guide will also give a talk on the flora and fauna
found in the midlands as well as on the environment as the region is a Special
Area of Conservation (SAC) and a Special Protected Area (SPA). Sailings
include a one way trip to Clonmacnoise where you can disembark and visit
Clonmacnoise, as well as sailings around Lough Ree.
A discount voucher is given to every passenger on admission to 14 other
attractions in the area.

group bookings outside that period (weather & water levels permitting)
