finest and largest Palladian Style mansion nestled along the banks of the River

Liffey within 120 acres. Experience the grandeur of the interior rooms and

decorative arts collections, lunch within the original 18th century Kitchen

and Courtyard. Explore the restored Parkland and historic walks, or relax in

the new Pleasure Grounds with FairyWood. Summer 2017 – Phase of works

to restore Lady Louisa’s Farmyard continues with exhibitions, pet farm, and

art workshops. Explore more of Ireland’s Ancient East and hire a bicycle and

cycle through the restored 18th century parklands down to historic Celbridge

Village. Visiting at the weekend? Enjoy music in the Long Gallery at the end of

your tour from the resident pianist. Guided Tour in English. New self-guided

leaflet in English with information already available in French, German, Italian,

Irish, Mandarin Chinese, Polish and Spanish. Audio Guide – available in English

the important events of the castle’s history and the stories of those who lived

in one of Ireland’s best preserved medieval castles. Explore the towers and

There are steep stairs in the towers. The audio visual theatre is wheelchair
