Huntington castle was built as a military garrison in 1625. Uniquely it is
still home to the same family that built the castle, and a family member
will conduct you on a fascinating guided tour to reveal all the secrets and
stories of this beautiful castle, including an unbelievable Egpytian Temple
in the castle dungeons. The gardens and tearooms are worth a visit in their
own right featuring original 17th Century plantings, champion trees and a
charming wilderness area. Duration – Min 40 mins for guided tour only. For
garden tour (if required) additional 40 mins. Tours available in: Italian, French,
Spanish and German – by prior appointment.

Open all year round 7 days: 0930-1700hrs (Sept to May), 0930-1800hrs
(June to Aug). Guided tours every half hour on the half hour. Closed Monday
before Christmas to Christmas day inclusive. Full Café and Bakery onsite.
Outdoor Barbeque during summer months.
Parking, Access/Ability & Special Requirements
Onsite parking for cars and coaches. Not accessible for those with mobility
problems (115 stairs involved in Guided tour). Sensible shoes and appropriate
clothing for the seasonal weather conditions. Some areas may be restricted
during extreme weather conditions
