Here visitors can enjoy a guided tour of a restored 12th Century Cistercian

Abbey.

Walk in the footsteps of ancient monks; see up close the Relics of the

True Cross of Christ that gave the Abbey and village its name, share a

secret at the ‘Whispering Arch’ where your voice magically travels around

the carved stone doorway, ring Ireland’s oldest church bell, or simply relax in

the tranquil surroundings of the Abbey as it stands proudly overlooking the

majestic River Suir.
