Experience Description

Lullymore Heritage & Discovery Park encompasses 60 acres of meandering

trails through peatlands, lakes and ancient woodland. A Bog Train journey

and a walking tour with local experienced guides take visitors on a journey

unique to this part of Ireland. Discover how the peat bogs formed, the

gruesome secrets of the bog bodies and the unique flora and fauna living on

the Peatlands. Try your hand at traditional turf cutting and afterwards enjoy

tea/scones and a chat around a turf fire in a thatched cottage. Tour: 1-3 hrs;

tailored to suit groups’ needs.
