Beautiful world renowned Powerscourt Gardens, set in the ruggedWicklow

countryside, is located within the 1,000 acre Powerscourt Estate, only 30

minutes from Dublin. Explore 47 acres of gardens, our authentic Irish craft

retail outlets and indulge in delicious food at the Avoca terrace café. Two

championship golf courses, Ireland’s highest waterfall and the luxurious

Powerscourt Hotel are also located on the estate.

house/waterfall. Minimum group numbers of 20+ per group to avail of group

rates. Advance booking is preferable to avoid congestion in visitor facilities

areas, but we welcome ad hoc groups as well.

Avoca Terrace Café: Daily: 0930-1700hrs.

Powerscourt Waterfall: Jan/Feb/Nov/Dec 1030-1600hrs; Mar/Apr/Sept/Oct

1030-1730hrs; May/Jun/July/Aug 0930-1900hrs; Closed two weeks before

Christmas. Duration of experiences – allow at least one hour.

From horses to horticulture the Irish National Stud & Gardens offers you a

unique experience that may be enjoyed at your own leisure or as part of a

guided tour. Daily guided tours of the Stud. Browse through the world famous

Japanese Gardens. Visit the award winning Irish Garden – St. Fiachra’s Garden

and also our Horse Museum. Restaurant with home baking onsite.

Opening Details

7 days a week from 0900-1700hrs between 1st February and 6th November.

Duration of experience – minimum time 1.5 hours, recommended time

to visit 3 hours.

Parking, Access/Ability & Special Requirements

Coach parking available for 25 buses and car parking for over 200 cars. The

Japanese Gardens are partially wheelchair accessible as they were designed in

1906. The remainder of the property e.g. Stud, Museum & St. Fiachra’s Garden

are wheelchair accessible. Comfortable walking shoes required. Advisable to

bring a light raincoat and umbrella. Refreshments and restrooms available

onsite.
