The Champions Programme is for people working in tourism who want to know their area better, enhance their inclusive customer service skills and welcome visitors with confidence

Take part in the programme if you:

  • Work in tourism
    The programme is for people working in accommodation, hospitality, visitor attractions, activity providers or other visitor-facing roles.
  • Want to know your area better
    Build your knowledge of the local area so you can share information and recommendations with visitors.
  • Can attend a half day workshop
    Workshops take place locally throughout the year across every region.

    The Champions Programme is for people who are passionate about their area and want to help visitors get more from their stay. Before you register for a workshop, make sure:

    • You have approval from your manager or business owner to take part.
    • You can attend the half day workshop in your region. 
    • You are happy to share your local knowledge with visitors and colleagues.
    • You want to help visitors discover more places, stories, and experiences across your area.
